AMG Enhancement: While not a "hand-built" AMG (like the 63 models with the "one man, one engine" plaque), the GLE 43 gets significant AMG tuning - sport exhaust, performance suspension, AMG-calibrated transmission, and enhanced brakes.

Exhaust Note: The AMG sport exhaust provides satisfying pops and burbles, especially in Sport/Sport+ modes.

Driving Modes: Multiple selectable modes (Comfort, Sport, Sport+, Individual) that adjust throttle, transmission, steering, suspension, and exhaust sound.

AIRMATIC Air Suspension: Standard, provides adaptive damping and self-leveling. Can lower the vehicle at highway speeds for better aerodynamics.

2. Design & Interior
Exterior Styling: AMG-specific body kit, 20-inch AMG wheels (21-inch optional), quad exhaust tips, and AMG badging. The Coupe variant has the controversial but distinctive sloping roofline.

Interior: Luxurious but showing its age compared to newer Mercedes models. Features analog gauges (digital cluster was optional), 8-inch COMAND infotainment display (not touchscreen), and plenty of leather/wood trim.

COMAND System: Uses the older COMAND controller (knob/touchpad) rather than touchscreen. Includes navigation, but interface feels dated by today's standards.

Cargo Space: SUV: 38.2 cu ft (80.3 cu ft seats folded) | Coupe: 23 cu ft (60.7 cu ft seats folded)
